Mother Daughter Day

I am in Girl Scouts and we do a lot of cool field trips to cool places. This one was to a fancy dining hall with a disco floor. I had presents for my mom and a poem. She got so happy when she read it she teared up. We both choose the roast beef and green beans with gravy and cranberries. It was delicious! After that Mom found some old friends and excused herself to talk to them so I slipped off to the dance floor with my friends.  I went up to the DJ and requested my mom's favorite song which was played shortly after.
